and I'm not scared
of your stolen power
I see right through you any hour
of your stolen power
I see right through you any hour
i'm taking it slow, feeding my flame
shuffling the cards of your game
and just in time, in the right place
suddenly I will play my ace

FRIENDS. Narcissa is not going to have many of these. She'll have acquaintances, yes, and admirers, but friends. Not by the dozen. She's not likely to be buddies with someone just because Lucius is, either, though she might be polite towards friends of Draco (unless she really, really finds them distasteful) but she's definitely not the sort of person who skips about hanging flower lau's around your neck and smothering you with kisses and cuddles. It's not to say she wouldn't have any, though; if they've managed to get around her iron-fisted outer shell and not run a mile (read: get horribly offended), then she might have friends. Countable on one hand, of course. Probably without using all of her fingers.

ENEMIES. In the circle of life and wealth and connections, enemies are an absolute given. You're always going to royally piss off or offend someone; it can't be helped. Though even if she wasn't any of the above, Narcissa would likely still have enemies purely due to her cold, frank nature; she's not a fuzzy buddy-buddy, she does not cozy up and play happy friends (as she tends to think most people are beneath her), she's definitely got her own notions of blood superiority and what a betrayal is and frankly, she does not give a damn about you if you manage to get your precious sensibilities offe--oh sorry, has she offended you? Oh diddums, you'd best be on your bike then. Go back to the kiddie sandpit from whence you came, if you can't deal with the grown ups.

Lovers.[/color] While Narcissa has certainly learnt how to turn on the charm to get what she wants, she is and nor will she ever be easy. Contrary to the reputation many women of her social status cultivate, the lovely Mrs. Malfoy is and always will be exactly that - Mrs. Malfoy. She never has and likely never will stray from Lucius,
