Hai Guys!
Okay so competitors have been selected and Dumbledore should be announcing them sometime today. Since that's done I'm gonna go ahead and explain how this tournament is gonna go.
First, I want to mention that this is not a threading competition. Basically this means you won't be threading your tasks out. That competition will come later :3
So there are four (4) tasks. In Hogwarts competition fashion we're not telling what the tasks are going to be. Tasks will be announced and are to be completed (unless stated otherwise) in the 'Time to Compete for the Cup' board. Each task will be explained when posted.
Members, who do not have characters involved in the competition, will be part of the judging for the third and fourth tasks and will help with the second task. A spacial judging board will be set up and staff will post polls for the 3rd and 4th tasks for member to vote on their favorite. Members are only allowed one (1) vote despite how many characters you have. If you vote multiple times, staff will only count one of them. Those who are competing may not vote in these polls. If you do, staff will disregard your vote.
Now on to scoring. For the first two tasks, scoring is based on correctness but time can and may be counted toward it. The last two tasks are scored simply on voting. In poll voting, the one with the most votes is first place, second highest amount of votes is 2nd place, third highest amount of votes is 3rd place and fourth highest amount of votes is 4th place. If at any point there is a tie Lakin or myself will vote to break said ties.
Each place is rewarded points that go as following:
1st place = 4 points
2nd place = 3 points
3rd place = 2 points
4th place = 1 point
Competitors will be given a at least a 24 hour notice as to when each task will start.
