Heeeere's Harry! I'm sure all of you are well and familiar with him after... you know... seven books... eight movies... and fandom... so here's in a nutshell the changes to expect for this version of him. - Fifth year Slytherin
- Older brother to Ariana, Gryffindor
- Still friends with Hermione (status with Ron or other Weasleys pending players)
- Still plays Quidditch, but currently as a Chaser
- Less stressed, more easygoing, less cheerily friendly, more practical
- No scar, Parseltongue, glasses or prophecy (obviously !)
f r i e n d s h i pHarry operates on the general rule of "Don't be an evil little twat to me, and I won't be an arse to you." He's generally even-tempered and easygoing, but he's also far from shy on voicing his feelings. He will adamantly defend both Slytherin house and Gryffindor morals. [li] Hermione Granger - best friend who isn't technically family [/li][li] Nymphadora Tonks - like a cousin to him [/li][li] Remus Lupin - like an uncle to him, and the closest adult male figure in his life [/li][li] Mandy Brocklehurst - amicable ex-girlfriend [/li][li] Daphne Greengrass - friends behind closed doors [/li][li] Imogen Furmage - harmlessly playful [/li][li] Cali Rose (pending getting to know each other better) [/li][li]Weasleys (???) [/li][li]Other (???)[/li][/ul] r o m a n c eHarry's got his pretty green eyes on menfolk, but he's also very much in the closet with no current intentions of coming out. He's dated around his fair share of girls - mostly eagles and badgers, but he's dabbled in lions and snakes as well. He tries to stay on good terms with his exes, keeping things light and friendly and fun and avoiding messy emotional ordeals. [li]His hormones have a massive crush on Draco Malfoy's looks, although his brain insists otherwise [/li][li] Mandy Brocklehurst (past; mutual separation) [/li][li]Present (???)[/li][/ul] e n e m i e sMost of Harry's enemies will be one of two groups: Gryffindors who can't get over his house or Slytherins who can't get over his morals, blood , or friendships. He's not one to actively antagonise people (unless he loves you - then you're fair game), but he's not terribly polite, either. [li] Ariana Potter - his sister gets her own special little spot on the "Annoys Harry" list [/li][li]Up for grabs![/li][/ul] [li] Aurora Davies (fellow Chaser, civil) [/li][li] Neville Longbottom (mutual wariness; Harry thinks he's not cut out to be a hero) [/li][li] Seamus Finnigan (mutual harassment; they exasperate and antagonize each other, but nothing serious) [/li][li] Luna Lovegood (she's just part of the Neville/Seamus/Luna trio, and too weird for him)[/li][/ul]

Okay! Here comes the fun part!
Ari & Harry
I think we've got this covered in c-box a whole big mutual dislike and annoyance of each other. Ari is evil at times and will do evil things to her brother just because she can. She does NOT get him and his ways on a LOT of things. According to her he's stupid. She thinks he may have been dropped on his head as a baby. In an odd way her torment of him is her way of showing love in an odd backwards sort of way.
Seamus & Harry
For some reason I think Harry rubs Seamus the wrong way. Maybe its a little bit of him being in Slytherin but then the whole making friends out side of Slytherin just seems out of place to Seamus and he doesn't like that because it challenges his thinking on Slytherin in general. In qudditch Seamus probably wouldn't target Harry as much as Aurora (he likes going after her on pitch) but he would hate Harry on the pitch for his flying skills and his seemingly cocky attitude about it. So after a while of playing Seamus might try some things. (I see Seamus getting a fair number of fouls on the pitch)

Ari & HarryI love them. 'Nuff said. XD Harry thinks she's a bit of a hotheaded idiot, too, and the pranks are juvenile and obnoxious. He might allow himself the occasional snigger at a particularly good one directed at somebody NOT him, but for the most part he'll do a lot of eye-rolling at her. He'll also always see her as a little kid, and the idea of her dating or having a crush would make him a bit ill. XD I think he probably is a little tiny bit proud of her, though, for being so assertive and independent and out there. He thinks she's a bit high-energy and high-maintenance, and of course wouldn't voluntarily spend time with her unless he had to, but thinks if the situation was different and he was a normal Gryffindor kid in her own year, he'd probably find her antics pretty funny. Seamus & HarryHa, yeah, I can totally see it. Harry doesn't think highly of Neville or Luna so he already doesn't think highly of Seamus for hanging out with him, and would find his pyrotechnics to be nearly as annoying as Ari - at least she's not in his same year and classes, after all. And Harry would absolutely show off his flying skills, and if Seamus was getting fouls for retaliating or trying to mess him up, he'd just do it all the more to provoke him. If he noticed Seamus going after Aurora more, he might tease him about that, but he also might not care enough to go that far... lol.

Lol yay! Fortunately for Harry Ari still is a bit of a kid. She's just now discovering things like crushes and isn't so sure about them yet. I think Harry would die if he found out her crush was on Neville of all people.
And Seamus and Harry seem like epic fun! He will get in soo much trouble because of Harry! And he might purposefully explode things when partnered. I almost like to think they still might have been partners in charms where Seamus blew up the feather with Wingardium Leviosa.

I completely forgot about Ariana's crush on Neville. xD Yeah, Harry would be like, "Are you f***ing kidding me? Seriously? Why? I mean, he's a nice kid and all, but... why?"
Pffft. XD I love that. Part of me goes, "Well, Harry wouldn't care of Seamus singed his hair or clothes so long as he wasn't hurt" but then again, another part of me goes, "Harry might hold that against him forever, if only to mock him." Pretty harmless mocking, more teasing than anything else, but on top of their Quidditch battles and Harry's general contempt for the company he keeps... heheh. They've probably served detention together a few times as well, with their professors just being like, "Again?"

Yep, I definitely agree ! Harry would absolutely back Neville in a battle against Death Eaters, and wouldn't generally be outright mean to him because Neville is too nice to warrant his short temper, but he would also look down on him and not see him at all as a leader or saviour until proven otherwise. I think for the most part, Harry snickers openly if Neville makes a mistake but generally just rolls his eyes and ignores him~

*pounces Rue* Your friendly neighborhood Carrie with a 3rd character. This is a relationship that has me intrigued. I think Remus would be understanding of Harry and support him in his being in Slytherin. Remus isn't as judging as Sirius and James are. So I think that our two might get on. Though I think Remus might wonder to himself quietly how Harry wound up in Slytherin but wouldn't judge.
As an aside I have it crossed off in my app but I feel like Remus wasn't the best baby sitter when Harry was exceedingly little. (He may have dropped him then but if you are opposed to this I can take it out).

Cali & Harry-- Well Cali is a year older than Harry and in a different house, but she is extremly friendly so maybe they would have met somewhere? I don't really know I feel like if they met and talked they would be friends because she doesn't see people by house, but rather by how they treat her. So, I don't know maybe friends? What do you think?

tonks&&Harry
We've totally already spoken of this, but I think it merits a second mention. Harry's grown up with her around fairly often, and in original canon they got on well despite his warier nature, so here, it's a given that they get on very well. Technically, they're distant cousins anyway, but she would both enjoy the fact that he looks up to her for her abilities and the fact she's the first to pass the Auror program in a while at her age and use it as a reason to stay grounded and not go too loopy. She's an only child, so in a way, it would be like having that teasing, insane but ultimately supportive, loving relationship you have with your cool, naughty older sibling. x3
also. so. much. teasing if he ever figures out she has the hots for Moony.

Carrie - Remus Lupin Fangirling aside, I'm so glad Remus would be supportive! It's hard to say without having a James and Sirius on the site, but the way I figure it now in Harry's bio based on what we see in the books, James and Sirius would be less receptive to his sorting so Harry would start to see Uncle Remus as The Mentor Figure moreso than his father or godfather, I think. Plus, he adores Tonks, and would love to get to tease Remus about her! Is Remus teaching at Hogwarts right now? The dropping him as a baby thing is fine. xD It entertains me. Harry will forever give Remus grief about it as well, although just as teasing.[/ul] Rissy - Mandy BrocklehurstLakin - Cali Cole cheery and flirty and social, in the sense of being a tad overwhelming. XD The half-Veela thing would most definitely not work on him, though, sine he's not into women, so that might be sort of funny - if she's used to boys always oggling her and he doesn't even notice? XD I think Harry would find Cali to be a great person but rather high-energy, lol.[/ul] Spooky - Nymphadora Tonks over the years, and if she ever, say, jokingly morphed into Draco, I think Harry would drop whatever he was holding and have to mentally backtrack and remind himself who she is. XD It might be good revenge for her when he inevitably starts shooting her little wolf-howls or sending her cheesy wolf-related things.[/ul]

Harry & Cali-- That makes sense, she doesn't really mean to use the half-veela thing to her advantage it's just something about her that she can't help. But, never the less I do think it would be interesting to see how it works out for them. Maybe since Harry isn't as cheery and everything as her it would calm her down? I only say that because she doesn't like to make people mad or upset with her.

Yay! I know! My jaw dropped back when I first got this signature. I've got other great ones saved up but this one was one of the best. Ewan does indeed make my heart melt. I agree with you on James and Sirius. My brain could easily write the reactions of James and Sirius to Harry being sorted "wrong". Remus loves being an Uncle and does lament having dropped Harry. (Actually I did a little fic on that idea of Harry being dropped and my brain was like MUST have happened on some level).
Spooky and I have been talking and Harry and Ari both need to watch out when the teasing commences. Honestly the teasing of Remus and Tonks might be a slight bonding moment for Harry and Ariana not that Ariana would admit to getting along with Harry mind you.
Also I don't think Remus is currently teaching. He probably did teach Harry's 3rd year though.

Lakin - Cali Cole
Rissy - Mandy Brocklehurst
Carrie - Remus Lupin" and " Occasionally, it's so obvious we're siblings that it's scary." xD Okay ! Well, like Harry with Dora, he probably writes to Remus pretty regularly, then, and meets up with him on Hogsmeade weekends whenever Remus is free. Where is Remus living right now ?[/ul]

Harry & Cali-- Yes, that does sound interesting! They would both be trying to be a little different than their normal selves. Could be fun!

Yeah that was a very hard moment for Remus, and I wasn't going to over look it. Really in the normal universe I find that moment to be something that is the bases for a rift between Sirius and Remus that can cause Remus to believe that Sirius was the traitor and for Remus not to be considered as secret keeper. I as left with the distinct impression that some thought Remus was the potential informant of the past, but seeing as things went differently Sirius and Remus I think have worked out their differences and the issues that were caused by that incident. 20 years since that point I think Remus is very beyond it though he know how thoughtless Sirius can be and that's why Remus is supportive of Harry. I totally love that they would still be in contact. I can guarantee that Remus probably recommends several different books that Harry would be interested in when it comes to DADA.
And aww moments like those make me smile. Ari would either ruin moments like those on occasion or she would answer with "I guess you aren't too bad yourself." As to Remus' living conditions, seeing as the Order is back and he's got something of a steady job because of it he's probably got a really shabby and questionable small place. Exact location, I don't know. But yeah Remus would be more than happy to meet up with Harry on Hogsmede weekends and what not. I know Remus probably drops by during the summer, get a proper meal per the insistence of Lily and I'm fairly positive Remus visits on hollidays when the moon allows.
