So it's that time again, guys - that loathsome, awesome, insane, fun-times thing also known as an activity check! After an inordinately large amount of time spent discussing it, the Admin team have decided that with the whole activity issue, we're going to be a mite stricter now and in the future than it has been in the past. Of course, no-one is pointing fingers and nobody really needs to feel guilty, so please don't. NSRH is just a great site to be on, is all, and we know everybody only wants the best for it. And most definitely, in advance, thank you all for your cooperation!

As for the rules regarding the activity check, they are as follows:
Post in each of your character accounts respectively, using the code at the bottom of the post.

We require the majority of you to submit a link indicating a thread/s you are/have been participating in that has been replied to in the last seven days - so the last post must not date back any further than the 13th September at the earliest. Unfortunately, posts in the OOC boards won't count. You're welcome to write up an Open post should you need to do so, too; it will certainly count as recent. As aforementioned, the majority of you will only need to submit the one thread/post, however, major canons (and I believe you all know who you are) are required to submit two of the above mentioned. T'is unfortunate, I know, but you are major canon characters for a reason.

If you are waiting on another member to post in a thread you are active in, let us know! We'll certainly take it into account.

Threads in the absence board will be taken into account. However, unless they have definitely stated a particularly long absence, the original post stating the absence of the roleplayer who started the thread will only be considered valid if it's been posted since the 15th of September, unless it's otherwise been updated by the same roleplayer since the initial post. We completely and totally understand and sympathise with real life, but to keep the board and alive and relatively healthy, we need to keep better tabs - not to mention activity - on and about the place.

This is also the time to let us know if you wish to drop a character, so we can act accordingly.

The Activity Check will last for seven days, from the 21st September to the 28th September 2012. Unfortunately, if you've not done any of the above after the 28th of September, we're going to have to take some action. Inactive accounts may be suspended, and inactive app's will be moved to the Graveyard. If the character deemed inactive is a canon, the position will become open once more.
