"Ronald Weasley! How DARE you steal that car!" - Molly Weasley That is the one dialogue that pops to my mind immediately when I hear/see the name 'Ron Weasley'. So, I know this is an AU site, but Ron is pretty much the same version from the books and movies. The only thing that may or may not have changed are his relationships - which is what this wonderful plotting page is for! 5 BASIC FACTS ABOUT RON - He is a Fifth year Gryffindor
- A brother to Ginny Weasley, Fred and George Weasley, Percy Weasley, Charlie Weasley and Bill Weasley
- Currently plays as keeper for his house team
- Still not sure where he stands with Harry and Hermione (need to sort this out with players)
- Does not mix well with Slytherins (again, not sure where Harry stands)
So, moving on...  F R I E N D SRon doesn't actively immerse himself in the act of making friends. The friends he has made to this point in his life have either been through default (share a dorm, same house, etc), by accident or they have stated themselves as Ron's friend. He is a fiercely loyal companian, friend, and brother - when he is not moody. FRIENDS E N E M I E SRon doesn't like Slytherins, blood purists and racists. He speaks his mind, often comprising of clumsy insults and sarcasm and doesn't think about consequences. Easily offended, put off or embarrassed ENEMIES L O V E R SRon has never had a girlfriend - he has never even had a first kiss. Doesn't know how to talk to girls without making them mad at him or cry. A huge homophobe. LOVERS

Seamus! - I think Seamus and Ron get along, they are roomies so that is going for them, I think Rob would be okay with the flames and explosions that seem to surround him considering that Ron does live with Fred and George. Then Ron became Keeper so that just ups the friendship thing for Seamus. For some reason unless they are a crazy wanker he almost considers anyone on the team a good close friend though not quite as close as like Neville and Luna. So yeah Seamus would probably be rather chummy with Ron having him join he and Neville when it's just 5th years/just Gryffindors. Let me know if you do or don't agree with this and any tweaks you might want to add to this friendship.
Ariana Potter - She is just as bad as Fred and George though I promise not as vicious like she wouldn't attack him with spiders if she knew he feared them. She might make a verbal joke or jest on a rare occasion. So I don't know how Ron would take her. So I'm willing to play this by ear and how ever you call it I'm cool!
Remus - Another one where I don't know where things stand I know in canon verse Remus probably knew Ron well via Harry ect but considering the whole Harry thing is up in the air... yeah. Remus would have been Ron's teacher in his third year. If Molly and Arthur are in the order in this verse which I would think they are, Remus might know Ron fairly well cause I am most positive Molly would insist on making sure Remus had a good meal once in a while. So *shrugs* again call it and I'll play it!
Snape! - "Detention Weasly!" No reason Snape is just being a git as usual. So yeah I don't even think we need to discuss this, I think this relationship would stay the same maybe the only difference is Snape might ignore Ron more cause Ron isn't with "the chosen one" aka Harry Potter which were both annoyances to Severus.
So that is all my kids till I get tempted to take another on which at this point I don't have the time and I've not been struck by a muse that demands I write them!

Yeah definitely these two would be mates, considering the have probably been in the same dorm since first year! : ) I haven't really decided how Ron feels about Neville. I think maybe he doesn't believe he can be a hero, but yeah. We can thread them all together a few times and it will be awesome just because they are gryffies! lol
Remus
I see what you mean with the Harry thing, but ignoring that, I reckon they would know each other rather well. If molly and arthur are in the Order with remus, surely remus and dora would be over at the Burrow every now and then, particularly when the family is home. So Yeah they would definitely know each other. How strong their bond might be is another matter entirely. I think they would be closer if it turns out Harry and Ron are best mates in this verse, but again, still don't know whats going on there.

I would love to RP with these two, though I think I should establsih some kind of relationship with Harry before we get to Ari. Only because, for instance, if Harry and ROn turn out to be best mates in this verse, then he will either think Ari is extremely annoying, or will just be indifferent about her. If he and harry aren't friends in this verse, on the other hand, then maybe Ron would have quite little to do with her??

Dora/Tonks&&Ron. It's a bit difficult to tell without a Molly and an Arthur, but for the most part, I agree with what you and Carrie/Remus have already come up with. Dora easily fits into the Weasley family, and I think in a way, she's probably always been fairly kind - if a bit mischievous - with Ron...he probably comes closer to how she might behave with Ginny, as opposed to the rough play she might indulge in with the Twins and his older brothers. And then there's the Order stuff, which is another reason to see her more. Yeah, I think they'd get on pretty well, and Dora likes being a bit of an influence on the kids. xD
Jake&&Ron. This one is entirely up to what...well, the both of us come up with. They are different Houses, yes, but Jake's family were Gryffindors for the most part, and he certainly has absolutely very little in the form of issues with most people. He's perfectly willing to put up with most things, and really, Ron's pretty harmless compared to some of the crap he's had to deal with lately. Jake IS Seventh Year, though, so they might not be great friends or anything, but I think they'd get on. They enjoy Quidditch, enjoy a good laugh, and unless Ron got jealous for some reason or something, I doubt they'd have a problem with each other outside of the Quidditch Pitch. Hec, Jake even knows how it feels to be the baby of the family, which Ron almost is, poor pet.
Oliver&&Ron. Well, first off, thank god for Ron that Oliver left the Team Captaincy before Ron joined the team. But no, seriously, I think these two would get on alright. Not be bosom buddies, as they're a little *too* differing in personality, if you know what I mean. But I think they'd be mates after a fashion; they're Gryffindors, they both love Quidditch, probably share that same manly fear *snicker* of *yaoi things* homophobia LULZ I nearly died laughing and really, Oliver's just an allround friendly guy when he's not being maniacal or moody anyway. Hell, they might have even sulked together at some point. xD

8D Oh my Godric, I am so excited to see a Ron! FINALLY, WEASLEYS!
So, I imagine that Ron and Harry grew up as friends as young children, as suggested by the FAQ - "Harry and Ron probably would be [friends] because their parents were/are in the Order and would be friends." - and if Ron was game, Harry would love to have stayed friends with him at Hogwarts. If he was willing, in spite of the sorting. He's still BFFs with Hermione, after all. :P And close to Remus and Dora and hates Snape!
That said, between the anti-Slytherin sentiment and the homophobia and being in different houses/Quidditch teams, I imagine even if they stayed good friends, there would be some tensions between them-- maybe topics they've just learned to leave alone because they inevitably lead to fighting or discomfort. Obviously, Ron's major homophobia is an issue for Harry. :P Harry is also SUPER close to Hermione and they're always visiting each other over the summer or talking about Muggle stuff at school, so with Ron being all "Hermione~ ♥" there might be some tensions there as well. (I'll tell Duomi - 'Mione's player - to check out your bio and post to your plot page!)
So in short... I'd love them to be friends if Ron would be able to stomach it, but predict the dynamic might have changed a bit over the years, especially as Harry's changed quite a bit from his own carefree childhood to become more wary and edgy and smirky and such. XD

Erm, Ron thought she was pretty "Ugh, what?" in the books a lot of the time, so I wonder how that's the case here? There's no Ginny to establish if she and Luna are still friends, but Luna IS good friends with Neville and Seamus~

YAYAYAYAYAYYA!!!!
So will be editing my profile after this because yeah, my history is heaps out of whack. I reckon, there is no denying that they would still be good mates, best mates even despite everything. If they grew up as kids, thats something that Ron would be like 'we've known each other forever...we'll be friends forever' kind of thing (isnt he sweet? ^.^) So yeah. Thats all good!
With everything else, thats EXACTLY what i was thinking! I posted in your plot page, I dont know if you saw, but in saying that I cant remember what I said in it so ill just start again here. I wouldn't say they had a rivalry or even a friendly one because of their different houses and quidditch teams. If they have grown up together, and Harry goes into slytherin, to ron, thats not a big deal because he knows him. Ron doens't like slyherins because he deosn't know them, and most of the time they just pick on him and make fun of his family, which infuriates him. because Harry does none of the, they are all good! Quidditch - the same really. It would just be like practising together, ron keep, Harry chaser, so it wouldn't put him off if they are playing against each other. you know?
Now the homophobia. Harry hasn't come out yet, as you said, but would he have told ron?? If not, then there wont be any tension or whatever because Ron is a doof and would never even think it was a possibility. But if he has, then heres what will probably happen. Harry tells Ron and rons all 'O..okay...' and takes some time to get used to the idea about his best mate. Maybe hermione even tries to help him come around, and eventually ron will say 'look mate, your my best friend. im behind you all the way.' and he will leave it at that. Mostly, he will try to forget about it so he doesn't feel uncomfortable and stuff, so it really shouldnt be and issue after he gets used to the idea.
Hermioneeeee - so THIS is where i imagine tension will certainly rise. Ron hasn't told anyone - even harry how he feels about hermione at this stage. Hes still not even sure. what he does know is that he cant stand the idea that harry and hermione are spending more and more time together, leavng him out. With the rumours that are flying around, Ron is kind of like wtf man!... but yeah. It could even get to a point where Ron gets super mad at harry and harry si like CALM DOWN BRO-MAN!! lol But yeah. thats all i got ^.^
All in all, I would like to keep the 'trio' thing going on. I know its AU and stuff, but I just cannot imagine their lives without each other lol

Ron would be mesmerised by the fact that she is a girl that is willing to speak to him, that she is pretty is a bonus, so Ron and seamus and neville hang out sometimes so they would definitely meet.

Noel and Ron:
...Moooost likely not going to get along. Noel's not a snob or blood purist like most of his house is, but being in Slytherin and having death eaters in his family doesn't earn him many friends from Gryffindor. Most of the time he usually just acts like they don't exist, actually, but he doesn't hate them like most of Slytherin. As for the homophobia... Noel is open about who he is and is happily taken so people who act like they have a problem with him and his boyfriend amuse him more than anything. IF they ever got past that, Noel's a pretty cool guy when you get to know him and talk to him a little. He's reserve keeper on the Slytherin Quidditch team and he loves the game.
I dunno, lemme know what you think, I'm rambling. XD

Tyler and Noel stick together. You picked the wrong guy to be enemies with. Tyler is a little less kind and very protective of Noel. He's not as forgiving and a little less patient. Prepare for nasty glares and threats if Ron starts stepping on toes.

So it sounds all good! Seamus and Ron shall be friends also, with this whole enemy thing going on for Noel and Tyler if things comes to blows Seamus has no problem backing Ron up. So yeah we could eventually have a potential war between Slytherins and Gryffindors.
So with Harry and Ron being friends that means that Ari is probably an annoyance to Ron cause she does not get on with Harry at all, besides she kind of takes after the twins so yeah.
Then with Harry and Ron being friends and what you have potted with Spooky/Dora/Tonks it means that Remus would know Ron rather well. Remus would take kindly to Ron and in some ways forever being the professor in encouraging him academically and giving pointers when needed.

Just a warning: Noel tends to stay out of conflicts and doesn't go looking for fights, but if Seamus or Ron piss Tyler off Noel won't stop him from pulling his wand on them. And if his boyfriend or sister get hurt by either of them there'll be hell to pay.
